Bought a policy for a client. Shortly after they moved in heat quit working Thanksgiving weekend, Homeguard said they didn’t have anyone available, client could call a local company and homeguard would pay. Local company came out, gave clients a $10,000. estimate. Homeguard sent another repairman out, fixed the unit with screw driver and ordered a part. Funny thing, when I bought the policy for my client Homeguard never ran my card for payment. During the repairs Homeguard phoned me and asked if they could run my card, this act makes it hard for me to believe all the negative ratings this company is getting.
