While attending San Jose State University with a major in International Business, Jim Hessling began a career in real estate and eventually launched several successful real estate related businesses. Due to his many years of business experience, Jim Hessling has developed a remarkable acumen and financial savvy when it comes to business matters. With this expertise, he successfully manages financials, people and resources to ensure premier quality service to the customers of HomeGuard Inc. Jim currently lives in Morgan Hill, California and is happily married to his beautiful wife, Joan.

Robert Hessling

After completing his MBA and an undergraduate degree in marketing from San Jose State University, Robert Hessling helped launch HomeGuard HomeWarranty in 2005. He has worked at HomeGuard, the partner company of HomeGuard HomeWarranty, since he was sixteen. His role at HomeGuard HomeWarranty includes managing all aspects of the operation and ensuring the highest level of customer service. All members of the HomeGuard HomeWarranty service network have been handpicked by Robert and all take great pride in delivering value and superior work. Robert resides in Gilroy with his beautiful wife Lindsay and their four children; Henry, Max, George and Ava.

Thuy Quatch

After establishing a successful career with HomeGuard Inc. in the Bay Area in 2004, Thuy was presented with an opportunity to relocate to San Diego to continue her career with HomeGuard HomeWarranty in 2014. After successfully building the San Diego territory, and being awarded the Top Closer and Highest Overall Percentage Increase award for 2020 (and previous years), she is committed to bringing the same passion and dedication with her to Nevada. Thuy is serving West & Southeast Las Vegas as Assistant Sales Manager and her main goal is to build trust and long term relationships with you, our valuable clients.

James A Steffenson Jr.

With a family tradition in the Pest Control industry, Jim Steffenson began his career at the age of twelve working for his father at J.H. Steffenson Termite. With a tremendous work ethic and leading industry knowledge he co-founded HomeGuard Incorporated with Jim Hessling in 1988. Jim Steffenson’s extensive management experience and leadership skills has helped make HomeGuard Incorporated the premier real estate inspection and repair company in Northern California that it is today. HomeGuard HomeWarranty currently benefits from his talented leadership and direction as well. Jim Steffenson now resides in Morgan Hill, California with his wife Raylene and daughter Ashley and is proud of his successful adult children Jim Steffenson III and Nachelle Bastianelli.

Danielle Nelson
( Vice President of Sales & Marketing )

After a successful sales career in the Bay area with HomeGuard Incorporated Danielle moved to Southern California to work for HomeGuard HomeWarranty as an Account Manager. Over the past 8 years Danielle has moved up in management and recruited and hired talent at every level to develop and expand territories throughout California and in to other states. As the Vice President of Sales & Marketing she looks forward to expanding the HomeGuard HomeWarranty brand beyond Arizona, California, Nevada and Tennessee and providing Realtors and their clients with the level of excellence they have come to expect when using HomeGuard HomeWarranty. She currently resides in Tennessee with her husband.

Mandy Taylor
( Assistant Manager of Sales Support & Marketing )

Mandy came to us with a broad background in marketing and management in the retail, automotive, and broadcasting industries. She started with us as an Agent Specialist in our Service Department where she mastered her product knowledge. This entry role prepared her for her current position on the sales and marketing side of the business where she participates in digital and print content generation, contract writing, promotional events, and overseeing our Sales Support and Inside Accounts team. With a knack for creativity, problem solving, and attention to detail, she has dedicated herself to elevating the HomeGuard HomeWarranty brand.


Robin Brand
( Arizona Senior Account Manager )

Robin Brand is a seasoned veteran in the local home warranty industry and welcomes the opportunity for you to join her and HomeGuard HomeWarranty for all of your home warranty needs. As the daughter of an Air Force pilot, she has lived in many states throughout the country and as a result, has never met a stranger. Her well rounded personality and confidence is complimented by a degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh where she majored in Education, Business, and Communication. Recreationally, Robin enjoys classic cars, music, singing, dancing, and acting. Robin and HGHW look forward to being of service to both you and your clients again soon!


Elle Bautista

Elle has over 5 years experience in Real Estate and the NHD industry. She has completed Real Estate Principles, practice and law at Pasadena City College. From there she became an Account Manager at a reputable NHD Company. She takes great pride in putting her clients first and goes above and beyond to provide superior service. She is excited to be joining HomeGuard HomeWarranty where her expertise in Sales and customer service can excel. Elle is looking forward to cultivating strong business relationships throughout North Orange County. She currently resides in Whittier, CA. In her free time she enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors with her daughter Hailey.

With a 12+ career in real estate, Nataly Ijadi is our Senior Account Manager covering the West Los Angeles territory and surrounding areas. With her positive attitude and consistent work ethic she strives on providing excellent customer service to her agents and their clients. She started her career at HomeGuard HomeWarranty in 2014 and worked her way up to Senior Account Manager. She currently resides in Playa Vista, California. She loves to spend time with her beautiful daughter, husband, family and friends. Her hobbies are reading, hiking and yoga.

She loves spending her spare time outdoors including gardening and at the beach. She loves to travel and is passionate about her love for music and singing because even on the best or the worst of days, music speaks to the heart. Mikaela has recently graduated from California State University, Fresno where she earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing. Immediately after graduating, Mikaela began her career at HomeGuard HomeWarranty where she was delighted to join the sales team. She is the Account Manager for Madera, Fresno, Tulare, and Kings County. Mikaela is always ready to go above and beyond for her Agents and their clients. She has many years of sales experience in the aerospace industry and is excited to now be pivoting to the real estate industry. Andrea comes from a family in real estate and is very familiar with all the facets it entails. She looks forward to growing her relationships with Realtors and Brokers in her territory. As a bilingual Account Manager, she will utilize her positive attitude and solution seeking skills to proudly serve her clients. Andrea will be serving the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valley’s.

Cecilia Ponce

Cecilia Ponce is a veteran in the Real Estate industry, having started her career as an Escrow Officer in the 90s. She has since worked in many facets of the industry. She is bilingual; fluent in Spanish. Her ability to communicate with buyers and sellers in their own language provides a huge sense of comfort to her Spanish speaking clientele. Cecilia prides herself in excellent customer service and believes that establishing solid, long lasting relationships and maintaining strong communication has been the key to her success. As a Downey, CA resident whom enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and traveling, she will cater to the South Bay sector of West Los Angeles County.
